RV COVER FAQ‘S

How to choose the correct Size RV cover?
How to Measure Your RV for the Right Cover
1. Measure the Length
- Measure your RV from bumper to bumper, including any extended bumpers, ladders, and spare tires.
- Do not include the tongue or hitch in your measurement.
2. Measure the Width
- Measure the widest point of your RV, typically including side mirrors.
3. Measure the Height
- Measure from tire top level to the highest point of the RV (e.g., air conditioners, roof accessories), excluding the tires' height.
4. Why Physical Measurements Are Important
- Even if you know your RV’s make and model, manufacturer specifications may vary.
- Extended features like bumpers or ladders can affect the size, making physical measurement the most reliable method.
This ensures the cover you choose will fit securely and provide the best protection!
How do I install an RV cover?
How to Install an RV Cover
1. Prepare Your RV
- Cover or tape any sharp edges on your RV (e.g., corners, edges of gutters, or ladders) to prevent wear on the cover.
- Lower any roof antennas to avoid damaging the cover.
- For larger RV covers, we include gutter covers and ladder covers in your package for added protection—be sure to use them before installation.
2. Unroll the Cover
- Unroll the RV cover next to your RV or trailer, ensuring it’s oriented correctly with the front and back identified.
3. Install the Cover
- For smaller RVs: Use a ladder or tie ropes to pull the cover over the sides. Take care not to snag the cover on roof accessories.
- For larger RVs:
- Carefully climb onto the roof of the RV with the cover.
- Begin by pulling the front of the cover down over the front of the RV.
- Move to the back, unrolling and pulling the cover so it falls evenly down the sides.
- If your cover includes a ladder cap, place it over the ladder before covering the back.
4. Secure the Cover
- Zip all panels closed to ensure a snug fit.
- Pull the elasticized corners down over both the front and back bumpers.
- Adjust the tension straps at the front and sides for a snug but not overly tight fit.
5. Add Final Straps
- Use the included additional straps to secure the cover, ensuring durability during wind or storms.
By following these steps, your RV cover will fit securely, protecting your vehicle from the elements.
Do I need to cover the wheels of my RV also?
Storing your RV for extended periods? Consider investing in tire covers. Tire temperatures can soar above 100 degrees Fahrenheit in direct sunlight, significantly increasing the risk of tire cracking. This premature wear and tear can lead to costly tire replacements. By using tire covers, you can protect your investment and ensure your tires remain in optimal condition during storage.

Why do I need to cover my RV?
Investing in a high-quality RV cover offers significant benefits for RV owners.
Protection: A well-made cover, featuring waterproofing, UV resistance, and durable construction, safeguards your RV from various threats, including bird droppings, rain, falling leaves, and other environmental elements.
Reduced Maintenance: By minimizing exposure to these damaging factors, an RV cover significantly reduces your maintenance workload. You can simply uncover and hit the road, eliminating the time-consuming tasks of cleaning bird droppings, sweeping off leaves, and other routine upkeep.
Preserving Roof Integrity: Many RVs have rubber roofs that are particularly vulnerable to UV damage, leading to cracking and fading. A UV-resistant cover provides essential protection, helping to maintain your RV's roof in excellent condition during periods of non-use.
